Born in Dublin, Chef Eric Matthews’ career has taken him far and wide, most recently as co-owner and Head chef of Mediterranean inspired Kicky’s on Dublin’s South Great George’s Street. Eric has spent almost 20 years working in some of the best Michelin-starred restaurants in Ireland and the world including The Square in London, time spent at The Fat Duck in Bray on Thames and Guillaume at Bennelong in the Sydney Opera House. Eric’s homecoming culminated in his appointment as Head chef at the Michelin-starred Chapter One on Dublin’s Parnell Square. Eric led the kitchen to maintain its Michelin star for 5 consecutive years.
