Important Notice

In line with standard security protocols, we are asking visitors not to bring backpacks or large bags to Taste of Dublin. We will be implementing bag searches so please be aware of this and cooperate with our security staff should you be asked permission for your bag to be searched. Our primary concern is the safety of all our visitors.

Yes, children under the age of 10 have free entry to the event. There is a baby change facility in the main toilet block, within the wheelchair accessible toilets.

If a session is not sold out tickets will be available at the box office on a first come, first served basis.

There are plenty of free things to do at Taste of Dublin including chef demonstrations, masterclasses, tastings from the Artisan Producers and live entertainment all festival long!

No, customers are only permitted to be there between the times listed on their ticket. Gates will only open at the time specified. Customers will be asked to leave the venue at the end of their session. Bars close 15 mins before the end of the session. Tickets are not valid for any other session.

Should you wish to return for second session, you will need to buy another ticket. Tickets are not transferrable and can only be used for the session booked.

Should you need to leave the event and wish to return during the session you have purchased a ticket for, you may do so.  Before you leave the site, please approach a member of security who will able to advise you on the re-arrival process.

Taste of Dublin has a responsible serving of alcohol policy. Please respect our staff whilst they are going about the process of ensuring this policy is adhered to.

All sound and moving or still picture rights including, without limitation, on the Internet, vest exclusively with the Organisers and any material filmed or recorded at the Event may only be used for the personal, non-profit making enjoyment of amateurs. By entering the venue, Ticket Holders consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded as visitors attending the Event, and consent to the image or recording of them being used in future marketing material for the Event, or their sponsors.

Food ingredients that must be declared as allergens in the EU

1. Cereals containing gluten, namely: wheat (such as spelt and khorasan wheat), rye, barley, oats or their hybridised strains, and products thereof, except:

(a) wheat-based glucose syrups including dextrose (b) wheat based maltodextrins (c) glucose syrups based on barley (d) cereals used for making alcoholic distillates including ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin

Assistance dogs are permitted on site. No pets allowed.

No food or alcoholic drinks are permitted to be brought into the site premises. Bottled water is allowed. Bag searches will be in operation at the entrance to the event and any food or alcoholic drinks will be retained.

All ages are welcome but bars and exhibitors serving alcohol will be using the ‘Challenge 21’ policy – I.D. will be required if you are lucky enough to look under 21.

The Häagen Dazs VIP Suite is over 18s only.

Taste of Dublin is an outdoor event and is currently not subject to any Covid-related restrictions.  As with any other public setting, please do not attend the event if you have a fever (high temperature – 38 degrees Celsius or above), a cough, are experiencing shortness of breath and/or a loss or change to sense of smell or taste.

People with special dietary requirements will be catered for where possible. Our festival guide and website have a full list of dishes available at the event with allergens listed and vegetarian/vegan options highlighted. If unsure please check with the restaurant in question who will be more than happy to assist you.

Taste of Dublin has a robust security management plan, which is coordinated by event security.  Security checks will be in place throughout the event, including bag searches, which may result in delays when entering the site.  We ask all guests to be vigilant and not to leave bags or belongings unattended. CCTV will be in operation.

All restaurants at Taste of Dublin will offer their signature dishes for €7, some restaurants may also offer icon dishes which will cost up to €12.

Merrion Square is fully accessible, however please be aware Taste of Dublin is in a parkland setting so visitors will be accessing features via grassed areas at different levels.

There is some seating located around the site and the VIP suite will have seats. There is limited on-street parking around Merrion Square and the nearest public car park is Dawson Street.

Disabled visitors are entitled to free entry for a carer. You only need to purchase a ticket for yourself.

No credit or debit card? We will have pre-loaded Taste of Dublin vouchers for sale at the event. You can purchase these vouchers with cash or card (no fees will be applied).
These vouchers can also be purchased if you want to treat your friends or colleagues; the Taste of Dublin vouchers can be bought with cash or credit/debit cards.

Yes, our Bingo Loco Experiences taking place in the Hospitality Suite on Sunday 16th of June will be strictly over 18s only. Visitors under the age of 18 will not be permitted access.
