The Taste Kitchen is a must-visit feature this year, it is set to be bigger and better than ever with a line-up of world-class chefs creating culinary masterpieces sure to appeal to any food aficionado!

The Taste Kitchen will be the place to catch the finest culinary talent showcasing their signature dishes and sharing their top tips & tricks. The Taste Kitchen is a  hive of inspiration for you to ignite your cooking imagination, perfect your favourite recipes and truly learn from the best.

Thursday June 15th: Afternoon Session 12.00pm - 4.30pm

 Discover Gran Canaria’s essence with Chef Willy Ramirez through its diverse cuisine, combining fresh seafood, renowned cheeses, volcanic wines, and tropical fruits. Taste the island’s history, people, and breathtaking landscapes in every bite.

Paul Flynn, Chef and owner of The Tannery Restaurant, Townhouse and Cookery School, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford is renowned for cooking modern Irish food.

A Dublin native, from a young age Nico had a head in the cupboard and an eye over the shoulder of his Grandmother learning about the depth of flavour and the variety of spice in Caribbean cooking and soul food.

Graham Herterich, aka The Cupcake Bloke, is well known for creating tasty Bakes with conventional and some very unsual flavour combinations, using traditional Irish recipes as inspiration.

This fun event will see Emma Doran and Killian Sundermann go head to head in a live cook-off on the Miele Masterclass Kitchen stage. Participants will be guided by well-known TV chef Edward Hayden, who will be on hand to oversee the creation of their culinary masterpieces. This unmissable cook-off promises an explosive mix of culinary chaos and lots of laughs!

Edward Hayden is a chef and food writer and is very well-known to audiences from his weekly cookery slots on Virgin Media’s Ireland AM. He also presents a weekly radio show, ‘The Saturday Show with Edward Hayden’, every Saturday morning on KCLR96fm. 

Erica Drum is a TV Chef, cookery tutor, food stylist and supper club host. Erica has worked in the hospitality industry for 20 years. Her ability to explain and teach culinary skills, flavour, taste, and individuality is encouraging and bright.

Scott Holder is the founder and owner of Los Chicanos.

Jeeny Maltese is a Latin-American born TV chef and food writer.  Regularly Featuring as a celebrity chef on RTE One, on the “Today Show with Maura & Daithi” and Virgin Media One on “The Six O’Clock Show”.

She is passionate about all aspects of food and her very own recipes make cooking accessible and approachable for everyone.

Holly White has been working as a broadcaster and journalist for over a decade here in Ireland.

Having been vegan for 5 years and trained extensively with some of the best vegan chefs in the world she is all about injecting flavour into vegan food whilst keeping it quick and practical to prepare.

Miele are proud to announce their partnership with Rachel Allen at Taste of Dublin 2023.

Rachel is the author of several best selling cookery books, which include Rachel’s Favourite Food at Home and Rachel’s Food for Living. Her extremely popular television series for RTE and the BBC have been broadcast internationally and she frequently appears on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen.

Daniel has been cooking since the age of 5 years with his grandmother and has been in love with it since then. Daniel got his first professional job in L’ecrivain at the age of 18 and has since worked in restaurants such as Thorntons, Richmond and Mister S before opening Orwell Road as head chef in March 2022

As one of Ireland’s most well-known and liked tv cooks and broadcasters each week, Aisling educates, empowers and excites us to create nourishing and wholesome modern dishes.

In its simplest form, Aisling’s  food philosophy stems from her heritage and upbringing, but it has a modern and accessible approach. Her modern lifestyle food is all about seasonal and local ingredients, simple culinary techniques and great flavour.

Chef Sergi Palacín is the ambassador for Cambrils. On the shores of the Mediterranean and in the heart of the Costa Daurada, is a touristic town that unites tradition and modernity, with an exquisite seafood, so highly regarded in the gastronomic world along with the products from the agricultural cooperative that are the staple of a cuisine of such recognised prestige.

From fresh produce and local wines to renowned dishes like the ensaimada, experience with Chef José Cortés the authentic gastronomic culture of Mallorca, an island paradise with a rich culinary heritage. Immerse yourself in the picturesque landscapes of olive groves, vineyards, and cultivated fields, recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites.

JP McMahon is a renowned chef, restaurateur and author. JP will be representing our charity partner, Peter McVerry Trust, who have produced The Gathered Table: A Taste of Home, a collection of 55 recipes from across Ireland’s food world.  All proceeds from the book will go towards Peter McVerry Trust’s work with people impacted by homelessness across Ireland.

Eric Matthews has over 17 years experience working in Michelin starred restaurants around the globe and has trained under some of the best chefs in Ireland and internationally, including Heston Blumenthal, Philip Howard and Guillame Brahimi. Previously, Eric was the head chef of Michelin starred Chapter One in Dublin for six years.

Grainne is Head Chocolatier & Founder of Gra Chocolates.

Returning home to work in pastry in many of Ireland’s leading kitchens, the self-taught chef was the winner of the prestigious 2019 Euro-Toques Young Chef of the Year.

Trisha loved her job as a chef but as she approached 30 and found herself weighing 27 stone, she knew something had to be done. She set a goal to shed 13 stone, and has already reached halfway with 7.5 stone lost.

Recognising that an ‘all or nothing’ mindset doesn’t serve anyone is key, too. Ultimately, Trisha wants people to know that no matter how bad things get, you can turn them around, reset and start again.

Having cut his teeth with renowned chefs in some of the world’s best restaurants, including London’s Michelin-starred Arbutus with Anthony Demetre, San Francisco’s Michelin-starred & James Beard Best New Restaurant State Bird Provisions with Stuart Brioza & Nicole Krasinski and David Chang’s Sydney restaurant three-hatted & Number 1 Best New Restaurant Australia Momofuku Seiobo with Ben Greeno, Scott returned to his native Dublin with a desire to bring Mexico’s vibrant flavours and edgy feel of the streets of Los Angeles and its thriving food culture back to Dublin.

Lizzy Lyons from Listowel, Co Kerry is a noted advocate for healthy eating.  A former catering manager at Universal Music in London, Lizzy always wanted to work in hospitality and her passion for cooking began at an early age.  While friends were counting their confirmation money, Lizzy was investing in a Kenwood mixer! 

Director of Culinary, Stephen Hayes, oversees all dining experiences across the Cashel Palace and Mikey Ryan’s. 

With a focus on locally sourced produce, Stephen creates menus that reflect the very best of what Ireland, and more specifically Tipperary, has to offer. 

Gina Daly is a cookbook author and content creator who loves to make bold food with a healthy twist, taking her love for a good takeaway and making it into an easy to recreate fakeout!! She is also well know for her love of the airfryer, and her budget friendly and fun family meals.

Cornwall-born chef Jordan Bailey, formerly head chef at Aimsir, the fastest ever straight to two-star restaurant in the history of the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland, which he ran with his wife and General Manager Majken Bech Bailey. 

Jordan and his wife Majken, bring a concentrated level of experience from working at a very high level in Scandinavia, a part of the world that cherishes the hyper-seasonal and values the local larder.

In search of a new and exciting challenge, Kevin joined Jun Tanaka’s newly opened restaurant, The Ninth, in 2015, as Head Chef. Within the first year they gained a Michelin star. Returned to Dublin in 2019 and worked alongside the Allta team. Kevin opened Library Street in November 2021.

Kildare-based Chef, Caomhán de Bri, is taking a fresh new approach to street food with his nomadic food trailer, The Salt Project. Travelling from coast-to-coast, he has been popping up in scenic

locations all over the country offering an Irish-inspired plant-focused street food dining experience that hasn’t been seen on these shores before.

Kwanghi was born in Hong Kong and raised in Buncrana Co.Donegal and from the age of 8, he was helping out in the family restaurant kitchen.

His latest Venture added to his empire is Bites By Kwanghi a street food concept that won him the 2021 RTE Player battle of the food trucks televised competition. Now, in 2022 he has a 100 seater restaurant & Bites on the go, in 2 locations in Dublin City Centre.
